As part of our ongoing commitment to transparency and operational excellence, we provide the following information to assist our customers in their Business Continuity, Continuity of Operations (COOP), and Disaster Recovery (DR) planning efforts. This article outlines key availability and recovery metrics for our [Product Name] COTS web application, which is hosted on Microsoft Azure infrastructure.



Availability / Uptime

Service Level Agreement (SLA)

Our application is hosted in Microsoft Azure, leveraging Azure’s high availability architecture. We design our deployments to align with Microsoft Azure’s SLA commitments.

Our Commitment: We target an application availability of 99.5% on a monthly basis.

Historical Uptime (Past 12 Months)

  • Average Uptime: 99.61%

  • Longest Outage: 2 Hours 51 Minutes (due to planned maintenance)

  • Unplanned Downtime: Less than 3 hours total across all customers

We proactively monitor system health and performance using Azure Monitor and integrated application insights tools.


Recovery Time Objective (RTO)

Recovery Time Objective (RTO) refers to the targeted duration of time within which a business process or system must be restored after a disruption.

  • RTO for Business Critical: 1 to 2 Hours

  • RTO for Standard: 3 to 4 Hours

We have automated recovery procedures and backup databases and configurations that enable us to rapidly restore services in the event of an outage.


Recovery Point Objective (RPO)

Recovery Point Objective (RPO) defines the maximum acceptable amount of data loss measured in time.

  • Our RPO: 15 Minutes

Data is backed up at regular intervals using Azure Backup services, with critical databases configured for geo-redundant storage and point-in-time restore capabilities.

We continually review and test our disaster recovery and failover processes to ensure compliance with industry best practices.
