Overview

Our products operate in hosted environments that are designed to provide both security and efficiency. Depending on whether you are in a multi-tenant or single-tenant environment, your options for time zone configuration will differ. This article explains these options in detail.


Multi-Tenant Environments

In a multi-tenant environment, multiple customers share the same compute resources, while still maintaining complete isolation and security of their data.

  • Limitation: Because resources are shared across tenants, the system cannot be customized to align with one customer’s preferred time zone.

  • Default Behavior: All system functions and timestamps within multi-tenant environments are standardized to ensure consistency.


Single-Tenant Environments

In a single-tenant environment, the customer has dedicated compute resources and control over time zone configuration.

  • Configuration Flexibility: Customers can select their preferred time zone to be applied across all products within their environment.

  • Future Changes: Customers may request to update their time zone configuration at a later date.

  • Important Note: Changes to time zone settings will not retroactively update existing records. All historical data will remain aligned with the original/previous time zone setting.


Audit Trail & Compliance

Regardless of whether you are hosted in a multi-tenant or single-tenant environment, all audit logs and system actions are recorded in UTC/GMT.

This ensures compliance with industry standards.

It also provides a consistent and reliable audit trail across all environments.
